My Response-
My hope for this year, my junior year, is to maintain my 4.0 GPA and to receive a letter in music. My plans for life are relatively simple so far: finish high school, go to college, and finish college. I'm not setting anything further, I will do what's best depending on the situation in the future. As you can see, my goals revolve around school, and that's mostly because I love coming to school and learning. I know that school is a neccessary tool for my life.
School is a priority for me, and it strongly influences my other activities: pep band, friends, tennis, drawing, and reading. It's harder to manage everything at the beginning of school because I have tennis season from August-October, but I make sure to leave room for homework.
One thing I am truly passioinate about is my music. I love playing the Oboe, and I can't imagine not playing it. When the whole band and percussion get together for our concerts, it feels magical and amazing. Anyone on stage can feel the music through the floorboards, and I would never give that up.
Until recently, I saw myself becoming an engineer, but as I take Pre-engineering, I am slowly starting to doubt that decision. If I don't end up an engineer, I would like to work in some sort of science major, because it fascinates me. I don't have any set in stone future plans, because I want to see where life takes me.
